Overview
In this role you will support and eventually lead the sales function within a premium kitchen provider. You will work closely with the Director to learn the business, build long-term relationships with high-end clients, and progressively take ownership of key deals. The role is a stepping stone toward a senior sales leadership position within roughly two years, focusing on revenue growth, margin, and client delivery. You will collaborate across design, manufacturing, and service teams to ensure promises become reality.

Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Director with day-to-day leadership of the sales function
- Manage and develop relationships with high-net-worth/private customers purchasing premium kitchens
- Translate customer requirements into commercially viable proposals
- Own significant sales opportunities from enquiry to quotation, negotiation, and order
- Review sales pipeline, conversion, margin, and order value
- Support pricing and commercial negotiations to protect margin
- Develop existing key accounts and identify opportunities for additional revenue
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, installation and customer-service teams to ensure delivery of promises
- Attend customer meetings, site visits and commercial reviews
- Handle escalated customer issues professionally
- Coach and gradually manage members of the sales team
- Improve sales processes, CRM discipline, forecasting and reporting
- Produce accurate monthly sales forecasts
- Contribute to annual sales budgets and growth plans
- Develop commercial and leadership capability to take responsibility for the sales function within ~2 years
- Build long-term commercial relationships rather than closing transactions
- Negotiate confidently
- Understand revenue, gross margin, and profitability, not just sales volume
- Deal with private customers
- Work effectively with manufacturing and operations
- Forecast accurately and use a CRM properly
- Remain calm when projects or relationships become difficult
- Full UK driving licence
