Country Manager UK

Overview

As Country Manager UK, you will shape and执行 the country strategy to balance profitability with rental, sales, and service delivery. You’ll lead cross-functional operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety and quality while achieving revenue and profit targets. You will guide day-to-day activities, foster teamwork, accountability, and an engaged workforce, and partner with customers and stakeholders to secure growth. This role offers strategic influence within a global energy-services company and a chance to impact performance at scale.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and lead daily operations to meet financial objectives and P&L targets
• Identify and develop new and existing business opportunities, including lead generation
• Evaluate operational and financial data with budgets and cost/benefit forecasts to assess viability
• Support revenue growth with existing customers and maintain communication with senior stakeholders
• Understand and translate customer needs into proactive and reactive support with defined follow-up plans
• Implement strategies aligned with NOV’s regional initiatives and set clear direction
• Coach and train managers and staff to cultivate continuous improvement culture
• Monitor cost, schedule and performance and take corrective actions to sustain success
• Establish and pursue company KPIs and communicate targets to managers with data-driven analysis
• Develop systems to track and optimize productivity, standards, metrics and asset performance
• Provide QHSE leadership and foster a safety-first culture
• Ensure compliance with department and company policies and processes

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Business Administration (preferred)/Engineering or related field
• Leadership experience, preferably in oil and gas
• Proven track record of driving business growth and meeting sales targets
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in managing diverse teams
• Proficiency in data analysis for decision-making
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to travel as required for business purposes
