Overview
In this role you will oversee global employment tax compliance and advise cross-functional teams on tax implications of compensation, benefits, travel and remote work. You will lead strategic global projects, support audits, and monitor regulatory changes to drive compliant, efficient operations. This position sits at the intersection of finance and business growth, helping Adobe scale while maintaining tax integrity. You’ll work with diverse partners and external providers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Manage all elements of tax compliance for employment-related taxes (income tax, payroll tax, social security).
- Provide expert guidance on employment tax matters to cross-functional partners, including compensation, benefits, travel & expenses, and remote work implications.
- Strategically lead global projects with internal stakeholders and deliver comprehensive reports and documentation.
- Support employment tax audits, analyze data, and respond to information requests.
- Stay updated on changing tax laws and proactively implement required actions and communications.
- Identify and drive operational improvements and adopt market-standard methodologies for efficiency.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and oversee external tax providers to ensure a positive experience for Adobe and employees.
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, tax, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in tax compliance (including payroll, benefit, and equity-related tax).
- Strong ownership, responsibility, and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to articulate judgments in ambiguous, fast-paced settings.
- Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proficiency in calculations, data visualization, and automation for large data sets.
- Preferred certifications: CPA, ACA/FCA, or EA.
