Planner – Dispute Resolution

Overview

In this role you will support experienced dispute-resolution experts in planning-related projects. You will assess schedules to identify delays, help implement recovery strategies, and contribute to delay analysis and claims work. You will assist on arbitrations and collaborate with teams across jurisdictions. This position develops your career in a highly specialized disputes environment with funded progression toward further legal qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Support experienced consultants and experts with high-level advice and reports on planning and delay-related matters
• Assess programs and schedules to identify delay causes
• Help implement project recovery and dispute-resolution strategies
• Build knowledge in delay analysis, claims defence, litigation, and arbitration
• Support expert witnesses on delay-related arbitrations
• Collaborate in cross-area, multi-jurisdiction project delivery

Key requirements

• Experience as a Planner in building, infrastructure, engineering, power or transportation sectors
• Interest in dispute resolution and construction law
• 3–5 years on-site experience as Planner/Project Manager/Engineer with scheduling understanding
• Exposure to claims, e.g., EOT claims or delay analysis
• Degree in technical/engineering discipline and/or chartered
• Willingness to pursue a funded Masters
• Proficiency in planning software (Primavera/Asta)
• Forensic mind with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal English
