Overview
As Senior Product Designer at Ebury, you will shape onboarding and activation experiences for global customers. You’ll own end-to-end design across customer-facing and internal workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams to balance user needs with regulatory and operational demands. You’ll simplify complex identity verification and activation processes while ensuring a cohesive, accessible experience across web and mobile. Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end design for onboarding and activation journeys from discovery to launch.
- Design both customer-facing onboarding flows and internal workflows, balancing user needs with compliance and operational realities.
- Simplify complex processes like identity verification, KYB/KYC, document collection, and account activation.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Operations, Compliance and Risk to identify high-impact problems and deliver improvements.
- Create responsive experiences across web and mobile with consistent onboarding journeys.
- Partner with mobile designers and engineers to translate workflows into native mobile experiences.
- Deliver elegant, interactive solutions with attention to states, edge cases, and error handling.
- Prototype, test and iterate using research, data and feedback.
- Utilize tools like Claude, Codex, Figma Make or AI-assisted workflows to accelerate exploration and prototyping.
- Explore new ways of working to move from ambiguity to tangible solutions while upholding quality and customer experience.
- Contribute to and extend the design system to enable faster, consistent shipping.
Key requirements
- Professional UX or Product Design experience with Level 3 or Level 4 scope.
- Portfolio showing product thinking and complex workflows with problem-solving evidence.
- Experience designing complex digital experiences, preferably in fintech, financial services, SaaS, healthcare or regulated environments.
- Desirable: onboarding, identity verification, KYB/KYC, compliance, risk or workflow-heavy products.
- Ability to balance UX with business, regulatory and operational needs.
- Experience designing responsive experiences across web and mobile.
- Strong interaction design, information architecture, flows and system thinking.
- Proven collaboration across Design, Product, Engineering and cross-functional teams.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
