Head of Dispute Resolution

Overview

In this role you lead the Dispute Resolution team at a top-tier law firm in Hertfordshire, shaping the strategy and workflow of a busy department. You will oversee a broad range of litigation matters across property, commercial, regulatory, employment, personal injury and probate, coordinating cross-functional cases. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on case oversight to drive the team’s success and reputation. Responsibilities

• Head the Dispute Resolution department and drive strategy and performance
• oversee a broad litigation portfolio across property, commercial, regulatory, employment, personal injury and probate
• manage and mentor junior lawyers and support staff
• collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective dispute resolution solutions
• support business development and client relationship management within the practice
• promote best practices, risk management, and efficiency in case handling

Key requirements

• 5+ PQE in dispute resolution/lrequent litigation experience
• broad experience across commercial and contractual disputes, property litigation and employment-related disputes
