Senior Product Manager (Anti Money Laundering/Transaction Monitoring)

Overview

In this Senior Product Manager role, you own the Transaction Monitoring domain within Ebury’s Financial Crime Intelligence product area, spanning fiat, crypto, card, and hybrid payment flows. You will align product strategy with regulatory needs while enabling growth across traditional and digital rails. You’ll collaborate with Compliance, Engineering, and Data teams to build scalable, regulator-ready controls and drive improvements in alert quality and false positives. This position offers meaningful impact in shaping how Ebury scales AML capabilities across new products and verticals.

Responsibilities

• Own the Transaction Monitoring product area across fiat, crypto, card, and hybrid flows; define strategy and actionable roadmaps aligned with domain goals
• Evolve rules, risk typologies, and predictive models to meet different compliance frameworks and Crypto Travel Rule needs
• Drive reductions in false positives and improve alert quality and operational scalability
• Partner with first and second line operations and compliance to ensure controls are effective, explainable, and audit-ready
• Collaborate with Data Science on production-ready understanding of predictive models and thresholds; translate regulatory requirements into product requirements
• Work with Engineering on vendor integrations (blockchain analytics, travel rule), event schemas, data models, and system performance
• Support regulatory reviews and audits with strong product narratives

Key requirements

• Fintech, crypto, payments, or regulated financial services experience
• 4+ years as a Product Manager
• 2+ years in AML / Transaction Monitoring products
• Hands-on exposure to crypto transaction monitoring, especially Stablecoins, or VASP compliance
• Experience with blockchain analytics tools (Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic)
• Experience with travel rule tools (Notabene, Sumsub)
• Experience leading vendor evaluations and integrations
• Analytical thinking and ability to engage in system design discussions
• Proven ability to influence across functions and geographies
