As a Home Care Assistant , you’ll support people in their own homes, helping them remain independent while maintaining their dignity, wellbeing and quality of life. No two days are the same, but your role may include: Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassionSupporting with washing, dressing and daily routinesAssisting with meal preparation and nutritionProviding medication prompts and support in line with care plansCarrying out wellbeing and safety checksSupporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environmentOffering companionship and emotional supportBuilding positive and professional relationships with the people you supportPromoting independence, choice and person-centred careWorking as part of a supportive and dedicated care teamMost importantly, you’ll make a meaningful difference to people’s lives every day.
