Overview

In this role you lead tax technology transformation workstreams within EY’s indirect tax practice, focusing on data services and scalable eInvoicing and eReporting solutions. You will collaborate with multinational clients and the EY network to design compliant processes, implement key tools, and drive regulatory readiness. The role combines business requirements with technical design to deliver impactful, scalable tax solutions in a fast-growing segment. You will shape delivery across cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff, with a clear impact on client outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead eInvoicing and tax technology transformation workstreams
• Translate business requirements into technology-enabled solutions
• Design and document compliant eInvoicing and eReporting processes
• Support implementation and optimization of SAP DRC, Vertex, PEPPOL, and related compliance solutions
• Lead testing, deployment, and hypercare activities
• Evaluate regulatory changes and advise on solution options
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
• Contribute to business development and proposal activities
• Coach junior team members and build team capability

Key requirements

• Understanding of global eInvoicing, CTC, and digital reporting requirements
• Experience leading tax technology or compliance transformation projects
• Experience with requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment
• Experience with SAP DRC, SAP S/4HANA, Vertex, EDICOM, Pagero, or similar solutions
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical specs
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
