Overview
As Security Resources Manager, lead security delivery for clients in energy, chemicals, and utilities. You’ll combine technical security expertise with commercial know-how to grow Accenture’s security business and ensure successful program outcomes. You’ll bridge client needs with Accenture’s domain experts, shaping security solutions in regulated environments. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end security project delivery in regulated environments, managing timelines, budgets, and quality
- Serve as the primary client contact across technical and executive stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
- Conduct cybersecurity strategy assessments and readiness evaluations using industry frameworks
- Identify risks at multiple levels and propose proportionate mitigations
- Analyze secure architectures, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend improvements
- Design and implement tailored security solutions and control frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Produce high-quality deliverables (threat/risk assessments, policies, assurance plans, compliance evidence)
- Stay informed on emerging threats and AI-driven security, informing client strategy
- Drive business development within existing accounts and support new opportunities
- Lead and develop security consultants and contribute to thought leadership
- Collaborate with industry and alliance teams to create differentiated security offerings
- Participate in hybrid delivery with client and project-based flexibility
Key requirements
- 12+ years of cybersecurity experience, with focus on critical infrastructure or regulated environments
- Proven track record leading complex, multi-workstream security programs
- Familiarity with security regulations and frameworks (NIST, NIS, CAF)
- Experience engaging both technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Commercial awareness including bids, proposals, or account growth
- Excellent communication translating risks into business impact
- Willingness to travel across the UK
