Dual Fuel Engineer

Overview

In this role you install, maintain and commission gas and electric meters for domestic and commercial projects across the UK, including three-phase and smart metering. You work within a safety- and regulation-driven environment to support metering deployments and upskilling opportunities. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and commission gas and electric meters (domestic and commercial)
• Handle three-phase and smart metering installations
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and metering regulations
• Provide high-quality customer service during field tasks
• Contribute to project variety across UK metering sites
• Support upskilling in areas like three-phase and commercial metering

Key requirements

• Proven experience as a Dual Fuel Engineer, Smart Meter Engineer, or Meter Installer
• Fully qualified in gas and electric metering
• Desirable: experience with commercial or three-phase metering
• Strong understanding of metering regulations and safety standards
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent customer service skills
