Overview
In this role you will lead financial crime oversight for the Data & Analytics sector within the Group Financial Crime 2LOD, partnering across the business to ensure AML and related compliance. You will report to boards and senior management, shaping risk controls, policies, and responses to regulatory changes. You will influence cross-functional teams and regulators with expert FC guidance, helping the organization mitigate crime-related risk at scale. This is a chance to drive governance and policy in a global, multi-disciplinary setting.

Responsibilities
- Oversee AML and broader financial crime compliance across entities
- Monitor adherence to group FC policies and procedures
- Report to boards and senior management with transparent FC oversight
- Be primary contact for FC matters, risk events, and high-risk scenarios
- Lead FC risk assessments and evaluate control effectiveness
- Oversee FC operations, MI, KRIs, and critical metrics for senior stakeholders
- Represent FC in risk committees, boards, steering committees, and product committees
- Provide expert FC compliance advice on legislation, risk, and regulatory expectations
- Promote FC compliance awareness across entities and the Group
- Manage relationships with internal/external partners (Risk, Legal, Internal Audit, FC Operations, regulators)
- Track regulatory and geopolitical developments and update FC policies accordingly
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure FC policy and processes compliance and understand local controls
Key requirements
- Significant knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements across Financial Crime
- Subject-matter expertise across the FC lifecycle
- Experience applying AML and FC legislation and regulatory compliance
- Experience writing and reviewing Policy, Standards and Process documentation
- Experience in Risk & Control Assessments
- Senior-level FC oversight experience
- Proven ability to advise and present to senior partners and regulators
- Experience investigating higher risk CDD topics
- Experience applying sanctions legislation
- Experience in a global, multi-disciplinary organization dealing with critical matters
