Compliance Analyst

Overview

In this role you support Millennium’s London compliance program by reviewing communications, investigating issues, and strengthening policies. You will summarize surveillance findings in concise memos and monitor regulatory developments for impact. You’ll help scale the email monitoring program and collaborate on multiple compliance projects. Responsibilities

• Conduct communications reviews for trading teams and targeted searches for internal investigations
• Prepare weekly and monthly memos summarizing email surveillance findings
• Support development and enhancement of policies and procedures to reflect changes and risks
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on the compliance framework
• Contribute to the effectiveness, scalability and robustness of the email monitoring program
• Partner on a range of compliance-related projects across the department

Key requirements

• Bachelor degree with 1–2 years of relevant experience
• Prior compliance experience conducting electronic communications reviews at a Registered Investment Adviser or Broker-Dealer preferred
• Strong understanding of FCA and SEC rules and expectations
• Strong writing, analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to produce clear compliance documentation
• Ability to prioritize work and perform in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Entrepreneurial, self-directed approach; ability to manage projects independently
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to work cross-departmentally
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; comfortable with various technology tools
