Overview

As Production Executive in IMG Studios’ European Tour Productions Golf, you ensure efficient production of live and non-live golf content, spanning budgeting, scheduling, and compliance. You lead a Production Management team, collaborating with Finance, Legal, and Risk to deliver high-quality output on time and on budget. You drive sustainability, DEI, and mental wellbeing initiatives within the team. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on leadership across multi-year productions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee multiple cost trackers and advise on budget alignment across productions
  • Submit monthly financial forecasts and report variances with narrative
  • Translate editorial briefs into schedules and budgets for seasons
  • Budget for complex live events/shoots with multiple stakeholders
  • Draft and manage supplier contracts and related legal paperwork
  • Line manage Production Managers, conduct appraisals and development plans
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure compliance with labor/tax laws and IR35
  • Liaise with Outside Broadcast suppliers and Technical Managers to optimize workflows
  • Manage risk: H&S, insurance sign-off, risk assessments and training
  • Plan and coordinate events, flights, hotels and supplier engagement
  • Ensure delivery of programme material, paperwork and re-billing on timetables
  • Support commercial and legal discussions in cross-department agreements
  • Monitor and improve production workflows and cost efficiencies
  • Drive integration of live and non-live teams for collaboration
  • Promote IMG’s sustainability and DEI initiatives
  • Travel to shoot/OB locations as required
  • Maintain strong client/federation/broadcaster relationships

Key requirements

  • Experience as a Line Producer or Production Executive, or senior Production Manager with live event credits
  • Strong project management across many productions and ability to autonomously manage budgeting, legal, risk, and people management
  • Knowledge of Outside Broadcast workflows and live-event production
  • Experience managing production teams and large programme budgets
  • Understanding of contracts, insurance, risk assessments, and Health & Safety
  • Ability to interpret editorial briefs into practical schedules and budgets
  • Proven ability to work with clients/federations/broadcasters
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Comfort working under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments
  • Solid Excel and Word skills
  • BAFTA Albert sustainable production training (or equivalent) preferred
