Overview

In this London-based hybrid role, you will develop and maintain automated functional and regression tests to ensure high-quality software for Calastone products. You will integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines and leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate test creation and analysis. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and drive quality improvements, shaping automation standards across the team. This role offers hands-on automation work with modern tech in a global finance tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites (functional, regression) using C#/.NET and BDD frameworks
• Execute functional, regression, API, UI, and exploratory testing across Calastone products
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for continuous delivery
• Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate test creation and defect analysis while validating AI outputs
• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, DevOps, Operations, and Client Delivery teams
• Create and maintain high-quality BDD scenarios, automated scripts, and QA docs; contribute to automation standards
• Continuously improve QA processes and promote AI-driven quality engineering across the team

Key requirements

• Experience developing automated test frameworks using C#/.NET (preferred) or Java
• Strong experience automating REST API and UI testing (Playwright or Selenium WebDriver)
• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitHub Actions, and version control
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, agile methods, and test design techniques
