Overview
In this role you will join a prominent Shropshire employment team to advise on a spectrum of issues for both employers and employees. You will draft and negotiate contracts, policies, and settlement agreements while representing clients at tribunals. The role involves legal research and contributing to the growth of the practice through business development. You will work in a collaborative environment, delivering clear, client-focused advice and staying up-to-date with current law.
Responsibilities
- Advise on employment law issues for both employers and employees, covering contentious and non-contentious matters
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
- Represent clients at tribunals and related hearings
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on legislative changes
- Contribute to business development and growth of the practice area
Key requirements
- Qualified solicitor
- 3+ PQE in employment law with experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse client base
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Training delivery experience would be an advantage
