Senior Financial Analyst, EMEA Payments Accounting

Overview

Senior Financial Analyst in the UK EMEA Payments Accounting team, based in London. You will own controllership and accounting for EMEA operations across multiple entities, driving cross-border projects and establishing best practices in processes and controls. You’ll implement policies with global finance leadership and influence internal and external financial reporting. This is a cross-functional, impact-driven role at scale, offering exposure to international projects and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deliverables for internal and external financial reporting, including commentary and supplementary analyses
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist in annual financial statements
• Lead select month-end close activities to meet deadlines
• Improve accounting processes and controls for high-volume transactions
• Participate in cross-functional project launches from scoping to testing and launch
• Engage with stakeholders across business, technology, and administration on integration projects

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of one or more accounting frameworks (US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP) and ability to apply them
• Fluent English (speaking, writing, reading)
• Experience supporting month-end close and financial reporting procedures
• Experience implementing controls or contributing to audits of financial reporting environments
• Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions
