Manager, Software Quality Assurance (Salesforce and Integrations)

Overview

In this role you lead a 20-person QE team to embed quality across enterprise platforms, business apps, and digital experiences. You champion automation-first, AI-enabled testing to boost release confidence and product quality, partnering with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders in a regulated, global setting. You will shape quality strategy, grow the team, and provide data-driven release recommendations. The role blends hands-on automation leadership with governance and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a 20-person QE team across functional, automation, and non-functional quality
• Define and evolve the quality strategy for enterprise platforms and integrations with risk-based coverage and audit-ready evidence
• Scale automation frameworks using Java and Selenium; drive early automation of high-value scenarios
• Apply AI to improve test design, defect triage, and risk analysis while ensuring governance
• Coordinate SIT and DV testing, regression, and release readiness with fast feedback loops
• Publish metrics and risk narratives for leadership; provide executive-ready quality narratives and dashboards
• Coordinate with Product/Eng/Release on test data, environments, and dependencies; ensure alignment across time zones
• Manage vendor/testers as needed and maintain consistent quality standards
• Mentor QE leads and engineers on risk-based strategy, test design, and automation usage
• Drive non-functional quality checks (performance, security) and engage specialists when needed
• Promote inclusive leadership and a coaching culture

Key requirements

• 8+ years in software quality, testing, or QE with proven leadership in Agile environments
• Experience leading SIT and DV for enterprise, regulated systems with strong documentation and traceability
• Hands-on automation expertise (Java, Selenium WebDriver) and ability to coach teams on automation frameworks
• Experience using Polarion ALM for end-to-end test governance
• Practical experience applying AI-enabled testing techniques and improving defect triage and release confidence
• Knowledge of regulatory/compliance expectations (FDA, GDPR, GxP)
• Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills; comfortable across US/Europe time zones
• Proactive, outcomes-oriented with strong risk management and stakeholder alignment skills
