About the Company:
HireIQ are delighted to be partnering with a long-established Northern Ireland Practice to recruit a Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant, who’s ready to take the next step in their career, to join a well-established finance team and continue to build their management experience, while gaining exposure to a wide client base.
About the Role:
- Preparation of associated tax computations and returns
- Training and supervising junior team members in a mentor role
- Supervision and preparation of year-end accountants
- Involvement in ad-hoc work projects including client transactions, M&A, raising finance etc.
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients
About you:
- ACCA or ACA qualified
- Minimum of 1 year PQE in a practice environment
- Prior experience in tax would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience with cloud-based accountancy software (Xero/QuickBooks)
- Microsoft Excel/Word proficiency
