Overview

In this role you will lead QE for AI-driven initiatives, shaping how quality is built into AI systems from design to deployment. You will mentor teams, collaborate with data scientists and engineers, and drive practical QA decisions around data and model quality. You’ll explore new AI testing tools while championing responsible AI testing across the Deloitte community. This is a chance to influence high-profile AI programmes and ensure confidence and credibility in delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI QA approaches for Traditional and Generative AI aligned to the development lifecycle
• Create structured test cases to evaluate model behavior, performance and risk across use cases
• Validate input/output data across AI pipelines and ensure data quality
• Support and govern test data preparation, validation and augmentation
• Implement AI test automation strategies for scalable testing
• Apply tools for model observability and evaluation
• Analyze model behavior to identify ethical, fairness, and responsible AI risks
• Collaborate with data scientists, DevOps and delivery teams to embed AI testing practices
• Mentor others and contribute to internal tools, accelerators, and communities of practice

Key requirements

• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira)
• Client-facing experience and senior stakeholder management
• Ability to govern testing processes and sign-off readiness
• Strong interpersonal skills and leadership capability
• Knowledge of AI model monitoring, drift detection and ongoing evaluation
• Data analysis skills to ensure quality and compliance with standards
• Experience analyzing AI model behavior and integrating findings into quality decisions
