Overview

As an Associate Director at Deloitte’s Insurance AI & Data team, you lead end-to-end client engagements, shaping transformation and AI/data-driven strategies. You’ll engage with senior stakeholders and coach diverse teams to deliver impactful outcomes for Commercial & Specialty Insurance clients. Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end client engagements and act as trusted advisor to senior stakeholders
  • Drive business development outside primary engagements and showcase Deloitte capabilities
  • Coach and mentor junior team members and foster an inclusive team culture
  • Shape and deliver transformation programmes in commercial and specialty insurance
  • Design data and AI-enabled solutions across underwriting, pricing, claims and operations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional Deloitte teams to deliver integrated client outcomes
  • Manage deliverables, set project approach, and ensure successful delivery
  • Develop and present evidence-based strategic recommendations to clients

Key requirements

  • Extensive frontline and/or strategy/enterprise architecture/data/AI/transformation experience in Commercial & Specialty Insurance
  • Deep understanding of the insurance value chain and market operations (Lloyd’s of London and Company Market)
  • Proven track record delivering transformative change for brokers or carriers
  • Ability to identify opportunities to leverage AI and data for business outcomes
  • Strong stakeholder relationship-building and change enablement experience
  • Proven leadership of teams through complex projects and strategic initiatives
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and ability to handle competing priorities
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
  • Bachelor or equivalent undergraduate degree
