We’re working with a well-established and very busy law firm in Bangor to recruit a Paralegal to join its Private Client and Conveyancing teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal looking to build a long-term career in the legal profession, gaining hands-on exposure to two busy areas of practice and working alongside experienced solicitors.
The successful candidate will benefit from excellent training, high-quality work and genuine opportunities to develop their skills and take on greater responsibility as their experience grows.
The Role
You will provide support across both the Conveyancing and Private Client departments, gaining exposure to a varied caseload and developing practical legal experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with residential sales, purchases and remortgages
- Supporting with searches, enquiries, title checks and conveyancing documentation
- Assisting with wills, probate, estates and Powers of Attorney
- Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other professionals
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files
- Providing general support to solicitors across both departments
- Taking on increasing responsibility as your experience develops
About You
The firm is keen to hear from candidates with previous legal or paralegal experience, particularly those looking to develop their career across Private Client and Conveyancing.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience within a legal environment
- An interest in Conveyancing and/or Private Client work
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a busy team
- A genuine willingness to learn and develop
