We’re working with a well-established and very busy law firm in Bangor to recruit a Conveyancing Solicitor to join its established property team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to join a successful regional practice in Bangor, with a strong local reputation, an established client base and a significant volume of property work. The firm is keen to hear from candidates in Bangor, North Down, Belfast and surrounding areas who are looking to build a long-term career, with potential progression towards partnership.
The Role
You will manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, advising clients throughout the transaction and ensuring a high level of client service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing residential sales and purchases from start to finish
- Freehold and leasehold transactions, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Dealing with searches, title issues, contracts, enquiries and post-completion
- Liaising with clients, lenders, estate agents and other professionals
- Providing clear and practical advice throughout the conveyancing process
- Building strong relationships with an established local client base
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the property team
There may also be scope to broaden your wider property experience, depending on your background and interests.
About You
The firm is open to solicitors at different levels of PQE, provided you have solid experience in Northern Ireland residential conveyancing.
You will ideally have:
- Qualified Solicitor status in Northern Ireland
- Practical residential conveyancing experience
- The ability to manage your own caseload with a high degree of autonomy
- Strong technical knowledge and drafting skills
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and client-care skills
- A commercial and proactive approach to your work
- The ambition to develop your career within an established practice
