Overview

In this role, you will conduct manager due diligence and support portfolio implementation for a global client base. You will be part of the global credit research team and contribute to research agendas, asset allocation decisions, and client-focused communication. You’ll help translate complex credit insights into actionable investment strategies and thought leadership. This role offers exposure to diverse credit markets and cross-functional collaboration within a mission-driven, excellence-focused team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct solution-focused due diligence across credit strategies (LDI, IG credit, emerging markets debt, high yield, loans, securitised credit)
  • Shape and deliver the broader credit research agenda for global client servicing
  • Active participation in the global credit research team and asset class investment committee
  • Review model portfolios/multi-manager solutions and recommend asset allocation or implementation adjustments
  • Contribute to thought leadership and client communications about investment views and processes
  • Coordinate with Global Portfolio Management Group and client teams to surface best ideas
  • Communicate investment philosophy and portfolio views clearly to internal and external audiences
  • Promote excellence and efficiency; propose process improvements

Key requirements

  • High degree of understanding of investment principles across credit and multiple investment management approaches
  • Experience in researching and/or allocating to credit strategies
  • Experience with LDI, IG Credit and other liquid credit a plus
  • Institutional client-facing experience is favourable
  • Understanding of client objectives and practical implementation for institutional asset pools (DB, DC, Wealth)
  • People management and team development experience desirable
