Overview

In this role you lead UX design for complex digital projects within a London practice, shaping the user experience from research to delivery. You will partner with engineering and product management to realize compelling, data-informed solutions. You advocate for design both inside and outside the company, mentoring the team and guiding engagements with clients. The position combines hands-on design work with leadership to grow the practice and deliver user-centered outcomes. This is a chance to influence product strategy and user journeys at scale in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of digital projects in development, select wireframing and prototyping tools, conduct lean user testing when needed, and define evaluation criteria to understand user needs
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to create personas, use cases, concepts, user journeys and information architecture for strategy
  • Incorporate complex technical and business requirements into experience-driven solutions
  • Create prototypes from high-level requirements
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to realize and deliver creative solutions
  • Stay updated on latest practices and technologies to inspire ideas and concepts
  • Act as a design advocate internally and externally

Key requirements

  • Mid to Senior UX or product designer with 3+ years of experience with reputable clients on complex problems
  • Working knowledge of lean UX processes
  • Experience in interface design for desktop, tablet, and mobile
  • Experience in an Agile environment is desirable
  • Proven design track record and design agency experience
  • Experience leading teams and managing design outputs through the development process
