Warehouse OperativeA large research organisation, based in South Oxfordshire require an experienced warehouse/stores person for their busy goods in and logistics function.A major refit and upgrade is taking place, with a large volume of goods being received and despatched daily.Main DutiesCoordinate, arrange and record all dispatches from sitePackage items/goods sufficiently for safe dispatch and transportation.Use of Stock Control System and registration of deliveries / goodsFile delivery notes and signed Receipt Registration labels.Inform staff and contractors when deliveries have arrived.Relocate parcels / deliveries to storage compounds / locations.Resolution of queries arising from missing deliveries and damaged goods etc.Stock management of consumables.Housekeeping and General Administration duties as required.Skills & ExperiencePrevious general warehousing/stores or goods-in and Despatch experienceComputer literate and experienced in the use of stock/materials control systemsFull Drivers Licence – Previous van driving experience would be advantageiousPrevious Forklift experience is preferred but onsite training may be availableThe role is available immediately, initially for a 6-month period but an extension up to 3 years is possible.Interested, please contact Graeme at Vibe Recruit on 07971 309403 or apply immediatelyVibe Recruit is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
