Your hourly rate in this role will be £12.92. Weekend, Bank Holiday and unsociable working hours (8pm – 6am) will attract an enhanced hourly pay.
We are recruiting for a Facilities Operative at Whitstable & Tankerton Hospital. This 15 hour a week post involves working a 2 week rota pattern,working alternate weekends and shift times from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
Recent cleaning experience welcome though not essential. A full induction and training programme will be applied at the start of your journeywith us.
Working weekends and Bank Holidays attract Enhanced rates of pay.

This is primarily a hands-on cleaning position where you will learn all the back-ground skills and knowledge to enable you to complete the role,e.g. enhanced and periodic clean training, NHS National Cleaning standards, completion of paperwork, equipment training, COSHH, wastemanagement and basic catering tasks i.e. making and serving of beverages, serving of patient meals.
Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust is due to integrate with Medway Community Healthcare on 1 October 2026. Following integration and to align our community services to the new Neighbourhood Model of care delivery, there will be a period of consultation which may result in changes affecting some services, teams or roles.
