Overview

In this role you will design hands-on apparel graphics, prints and bespoke assets for infant to kidswear across EMEA. You will translate trends into mood boards, concepts and presentation materials, shaping graphic direction for licensed Disney IP while aligning with brand guidelines. Working closely with partners and licensees, you’ll ensure high-quality visuals that resonate with families and drive commercial outcomes. The position blends creative storytelling with brand integrity in a fast-paced retail context. This fixed-term contract is based in London with onsite work four days per week, offering a chance to contribute to Disney’s creative vision.

Responsibilities

  • Design apparel graphics, placement prints, all-over prints and bespoke assets for infant to kidswear ranges
  • Research trends across textiles, graphics and markets and convert insights into concepts and pitch materials
  • Create and adapt Disney IP-aligned artwork that resonates with babies, children and families
  • Support retail partners and licensees with graphic direction within brand guidelines and commercial priorities
  • Review submissions, provide first-line creative feedback, and escalate quality or consistency issues
  • Prepare visual materials and assets for internal teams, partners and licensing reviews
  • Assist with the product approval process ensuring submissions meet global integrity and legal requirements
  • Offer occasional non-apparel creative support (homewares, gifting, simple 3D visuals) to reduce dependency on freelancers

Key requirements

  • Experience in apparel graphics, prints, textile design or softlines for children’s wear
  • Strong portfolio showcasing apparel graphics, all-over prints, placement graphics and textiles
  • Ability to translate trends and brand assets into commercially viable apparel artwork
  • Understanding of infant, baby and kidswear markets, including colors and print techniques
  • Clear visual design materials: mood boards, concepts, mock-ups, pitch decks
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback on submissions and maintain design quality
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Licensing experience is a plus; experience in homewares or simple 3D work is advantageous
