Service Desk Analyst | Central London (Farringdon) | Cisco Gold Partner | 12 Month Contract
Kick-start your IT career with a business that’s scaling fast across the UK and Europe
This is a genuinely exciting entry point for an early-career IT professional. Our client, a US-headquartered MSP and Cisco Gold Partner, is in the middle of an aggressive UK and European expansion, and they’re building out their Service Desk to support it. Because they’re multi-vendor (not locked into a singular technology stack), you’ll be exposed to a much broader range of tools, platforms and vendors than you’d typically see in a first support role, giving you a real head start on whichever specialism you want to move into.
Why this role stands out
- Join a business in true growth mode, with the opportunities that come with early-stage UK/European expansion
- Multi-vendor environment means broad technical exposure, not just one ecosystem
- Clear, structured progression: strong potential to move into Network, Infrastructure, Network Security or wider Security specialisms as you develop
- Hands-on, technically-driven MSP culture where you’ll actually learn, not just log tickets
- Central London base (Farringdon) with a flexible 2-3 days on-site setup
What you’ll be doing
- Providing first-line IT support and resolving tickets against SLAs
- Supporting day-to-day IT operations across the business
- Escalating more complex issues to the right technical teams, and learning from how they’re resolved
- Working across M365 and Excel to support reporting and admin
- Keeping clear, accurate documentation of issues and resolutions
What you’ll need
- 1-3 years’ experience in a service desk or IT support environment
- A tech-related degree
- Strong M365 and Excel skills
- Full, valid driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
The details
- Location: Farringdon, London (2-3 days on-site per week)
- Duration: 12 months initial, with a strong chance of extension
If you’re looking for a service desk role that’s actually a launchpad rather than a dead end, this is it.
