Clinical Negligence Solicitor – 3-5 PQE – Sheffield

Overview

In this role you will join a specialist Medical Negligence group in Sheffield to handle a mix of individual claims and large-scale group actions. You will manage a personal caseload while supporting senior lawyers on high‑profile litigation, working closely with experts and stakeholders. The role offers exposure to technically challenging cases and meaningful litigation in a respected claimant practice. You will contribute to team development and knowledge sharing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle own caseload of medical negligence and group action matters
• Provide clear, empathetic client advice
• Assist on high‑value, high‑profile litigation
• Pursue interim payments to support client rehabilitation

• Support team development and knowledge sharing

Key requirements

• 3-5 years PQE in medical negligence
• Experience with complex litigation
• Group actions or product liability experience is helpful but not essential
• Strong organisational skills and commercial awareness
• Able to work independently and collaboratively
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to commute to Sheffield 2 days per week
