Care Assistant – Weekend Earlies

Community care feel, under one roof! – no travelling between houses!

At QS Care, we are recruiting experienced Care Assistants for a unique residential service where residents live in their own flats under one roof. You will deliver essential support within a single building, meaning you get a great sense of community without wasting time traveling between locations.

The Role

• Provide personal care, assist with meal preparation, and handle domestic tasks.
• Administer medication and support residents on local shopping trips.
• Assist semi-independent residents, including double-up care using hoists and mobility aids.
• Deliver planned care calls alongside ad-hoc visits based on resident needs.

What You Need

• Proven experience as a Care Assistant.
• Competence in medication administration and moving and handling (hoists).
• An adaptable, positive attitude.

To apply for this role, you must

• Have 12 months experience within a UK Care Home Setting
• Able to provide references covering the last 2 years of work
• Have an in-date enhanced DBS check dated within the last 6 months, ideally on the update service

This role offers ongoing hours for the right candidate!

Typical hours are from 06:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.

You will be paid £12.71 per hour (rising to £13.33 after 13 weeks) with an enhancement of £16.90 for 06:00 to 07:00 hour worked
