Asset Management Surveyor

Overview

In this role you own the performance and strategy of a diverse property portfolio within a growing specialist advisory. You will work closely with clients and internal property teams, with autonomy across your portfolio and a clear in-house progression path as the firm expands. You’ll tackle value enhancement, risk mitigation, and performance analysis to shape asset strategies. This is a chance to influence outcomes during a growth phase while applying MRICS-level expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and distressed property assets to improve performance, reduce risk and increase value
• Oversee maintenance, compliance, and management of contractors, managing agents and letting agents across the portfolio
• Handle leases, rental income, utilities, and insurance to protect assets and ensure efficient management
• Analyse portfolio performance and provide recommendations on asset management, investment, disposal, redevelopment, and repositioning strategies

Key requirements

• Experience managing commercial and distressed property assets including operational property matters
• Experience with landlord and tenant matters, lease events, property compliance, maintenance, and contractor or agent management
• Experience producing professional reports and commercially focused recommendations to improve asset performance and value
• MRICS or AssocRICS qualification or progression towards Chartered status would be advantageous
