Quality Compliance Manager

Overview

In this role, you will assure quality across the @one Alliance for Skanska’s infrastructure projects, from inception through handover. You will lead pre-delivery quality inspections, witness testing, and ensure design-to-standards conformance. You’ll influence budgets, contracts, and supplier performance while recording lessons learned and driving continuous H&S improvements. You’ll participate in the Alliance Quality Community to share best practices, enabling safe, high-quality delivery at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold values, integrity, and professionalism
• Carry out pre-delivery quality inspections and witness testing per project plan
• Monitor budgets, contracts, and supplier performance for compliance and ethics
• Escalate issues and coordinate remedial actions with delivery teams; log lessons learned in M2i
• Support personal and team development and encourage cross-functional learning
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety standards
• Actively participate in the @one Alliance Quality Community to improve quality processes

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Experience of Auditing
• Relevant Construction Industry experience
• Detailed knowledge of ISO9001
• CQI Chartered Member or working towards Chartership
• Knowledge of UK and international regulations (CDM, Building Regulations, environmental and safety standards)
