Overview
As a Senior Supply Market Management Analyst, you will deliver robust market intelligence and supplier analysis to inform major infrastructure programmes and procurement strategies. You will work with SMM managers and project teams to translate analysis into practical recommendations and support client engagements. The role includes mentoring junior analysts and contributing to methodological development within a growing SMM practice. You will operate in a collaborative, client-focused environment delivering evidence-based insights with impact across complex programmes.

Responsibilities
- Lead supply market assessments, analysis, and insights for defined categories and workstreams
- Analyze supplier capability, capacity, financials, and pipelines to identify risks and opportunities
- Develop and maintain market models, maps, and datasets with data integrity
- Generate high-quality reports, dashboards, and presentations for clients and internal stakeholders
- Plan and execute market engagement activities and capture feedback outcomes
- Explain findings to clients and project teams, test assumptions, and refine recommendations
- Coordinate inputs from multiple sources to produce coherent, evidence-based insights
- Provide day-to-day coaching to junior analysts and ensure output quality
- Collaborate with procurement, commercial, cost, and project management teams to embed insights into wider strategies
- Contribute to tool, template, and best-practice development within the SMM community
Key requirements
- Proven experience in supply market analysis, procurement, commercial, or infrastructure advisory roles
- Track record of delivering analytical outputs that inform procurement or investment decisions
- Experience on infrastructure, construction, or regulated-sector programmes is desirable
- Degree qualification in a relevant discipline
- Professional membership (e.g., MCIPS) achieved or actively pursuing
