As a Quality Assurance Commissioner in Adults, you drive safety, effectiveness and responsiveness of care services. You will lead QA activity, work with providers and regulators to raise standards, and shape a sustainable care market. The role combines independent analysis with collaborative improvement work across health and social care partners. You will influence outcomes, support innovation and deliver meaningful change for residents. Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance activity across a portfolio of adult social care providers and contracts
- Drive continuous improvement with providers and address areas of concern
- Manage and coordinate Provider Concern processes when quality issues arise
- Develop, implement and monitor improvement plans with measurable progress
- Undertake audits, quality reviews and monitoring to evidence impact
- Build partnerships with providers, colleagues and health and social care stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and neighboring authorities for quality improvement and market oversight
- Contribute to strategic development and future commissioning priorities
