Static Site Electrical Supervisor

Overview

As Static Site Supervisor, you will lead site operatives to deliver work safely, to high quality, and on schedule. You’ll manage safety inductions, toolbox talks, and risk assessments, while controlling resources and materials. You will coordinate progress with clients and sub-contractors, maintain records, and ensure compliance with technical specs. The role includes plant upkeep, callout duties, and supporting shutdown planning and reactive tasks, contributing to reliable, on-time project delivery.

Responsibilities

• lead and organize site operatives and supervise their work
• conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks
• ensure quality of work and compliance with method statements and risk assessments
• oversee project progress, milestones, and schedules
• communicate progress with clients, subcontractors and relevant parties
• verify materials meet technical and quality specifications
• maintain plant, facilities and accurate records
• participate in callout rota for 1st escalation and have a flexible approach
• assist with building shutdown planning, PPM delivery and reactive tasks
• build and maintain client relationships

Key requirements

• H&S knowledge (IOSH / NEBOSH)
• SMSTS certificate (holder or obtainable)
• CDM Regulations knowledge
• substantial experience across full life cycle of several projects
• mechanical systems and infrastructure experience
• supervision experience of project and staff/operatives
• strong health and safety policy knowledge
• ability to drive projects forward and solve problems efficiently
• full UK driving licence
