Paramount Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Hotel Maintenance Manager, for our client, a luxury 4* hotel in Cornwall.

The Hotel Maintenance Manager will have overall responsibility for all maintenance activities in a safe, cost-effective, and efficient manner, ensuring a high standard of appearance and smooth running for the enjoyment and comfort of guests.

Main duties and responsibilities to include;

• Liaise daily with all departments and deal appropriately with any maintenance issues raised, giving priority to those issues which compromise Health & Safety or security.
• Liaise productively with contractors and suppliers to ensure the most cost-effective outcomes for the business.
• Carry out work on ad hoc projects using your skills and knowledge to ensure the most efficient and effective outcome for the hotel.
• Use, operate and store all tools, equipment and materials safely and securely to comply with statutory regulations e.g., COSHH
• Oversee and coordinate planned maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to the hotel and its guests.

Proficiency in trade work is essential, including plumbing/electricals and general maintenance work.

Due to the location, driving is preferred.
