Overview

In this role you will advise on complex regulatory risk and investigations for major clients. You’ll work within the Regulatory Disputes team to navigate fast-moving frameworks across prevention, enforcement, and contentious matters. You’ll support multi-jurisdictional projects, regulator engagements, and internal investigations, while contributing to business development and client training. Responsibilities

  • Advise on regulatory risk issues and frameworks
  • Lead or assist internal investigations, regulator-facing strategy, and evidence handling
  • Draft responses to information notices and policy documents
  • Support enforcement processes, interviews under caution, and related hearings
  • Engage in multi-jurisdictional projects and cross-office collaboration
  • Contribute to business development and client training
  • Assist clients in crisis response and ongoing compliance improvements

Key requirements

  • Experience in regulatory compliance and investigations
  • Advising on regulatory frameworks and risk
  • Handling internal investigations and regulator-facing strategy
  • Drafting responses to information notices
  • Preparation for or attendance at interviews, inspections, or hearings
  • Experience in ABC, FTPF, Modern Slavery or Health & Safety is a plus
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills
