Overview
As HR Manager for the UK, you will lead the people strategy for a UK-based business within an international manufacturing group. You will partner with senior leaders to shape and deliver the people agenda, balancing hands-on delivery with strategic HR initiatives. You’ll own end-to-end HR across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and payroll to ER and change management, while driving HR transformation. This role offers autonomy, broad scope, and a chance to influence outcomes for a growing organisation.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the UK leadership team to deliver people-focused solutions and commercial HR support
- Manage employee relations, including organisational change and restructuring
- Support absence management and wellbeing initiatives
- Lead end-to-end recruitment across the business
- Oversee payroll processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Coach and support managers to build strong relationships
- Administer employee benefits and reward processes
- Act as a key stakeholder for the global HR system and employee data management
- Drive process improvements and support ongoing HR transformation initiatives
Key requirements
- Previous experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or standalone HR lead
- Strong generalist HR knowledge across employee relations, recruitment, payroll and benefits
- Proactive, self-starting approach with ability to work independently
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills with spreadsheets, HR systems and data
