The role involves supporting children, young people, adults, and older people with a range of care and support needs, enabling unpaid carers to take a break from their caring responsibilities.

DBS
Applicants must be willing to undergo screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Main Duties
- Providing support in people’s homes and in the community
- Supporting individuals to access community opportunities, including social activities and outings
- Assisting with daily living tasks and routines
- Building positive, trusting relationships
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Following care and support plans
- Maintaining accurate records
We are looking for someone who:
- Is caring, patient, and compassionate
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Is flexible and reliable
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (required), including business-use insurance
Experience
Experience in care or support work is welcome but not essential as full training will be provided.
We Offer
- Competitive hourly rate of £13.45 to £13.90, depending on the task
- Flexible working hours, 16 hours up to 40 hours
- Paid training and induction
- Mileage allowance of 45p per mile
