A leading City law firm is looking to add a 3-6 PQE associate to it’s leveraged and acquisition finance team.
The practice has a particularly strong position in the mid-market, acting for private equity sponsors, portfolio companies, private credit funds, banks and other institutional lenders. Its balance client base gives associates exposure to transactions from both the borrower and lender perspective rather than being confined to one side of the market.
The work spans acquisition financings, refinancings and recapitalisations, with exposure to unitranche, senior and super-senior facilities, TLB, second-lien, mezzanine and Holdco structures. Transactions are frequently cross-border and involve complex security, inter creditor and capital structure considerations.
Key Requirements:
- 3-6 years’ PQE gained within a strong leveraged or acquisition finance practice.
- Experience advising on sponsor-backed and/or lender-side transactions.
- strong drafting and transaction management skills.
- Interest in developing across both traditional banking and private credit.
