Careers and Pathways Senior Officer

Overview

In this role you will lead the development and delivery of Chelsea Foundation’s Futures programmes for 14–25 year-olds, focusing on employability skills and career pathways. You will collaborate with schools, partners, and internal teams to create engaging, curriculum-aligned experiences. Your work helps young people access meaningful opportunities and contribute to the Foundation’s strategic objectives. This role is rooted in safeguarding, inclusion, and measured impact.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver Futures programmes and employability activities
• Build and maintain relationships with partner schools, supporting recruitment and engagement
• Liaise with local stakeholders, employers and community organisations to create opportunities
• Collaborate with Chelsea FC Foundation teams to align pathways for young people
• Support Foundation events and initiatives and contribute to participant experiences
• Support capture of success stories and impact with media teams when appropriate
• Foster a positive, inclusive high-performing team culture
• Ensure activities comply with safeguarding, health & safety and procedures
• Develop curriculum-aligned resources in line with National Curriculum and DfE guidance
• Undertake additional Foundation activities as required

Key requirements

• Experience delivering programmes, workshops or activities with young people
• Proven ability to build positive relationships with schools, partners or external organisations
• Experience supporting monitoring, evaluation and reporting processes
• Strong communication and organisational skills with prioritisation ability
• Knowledge of careers education, employability skills and youth pathways
