Operational Resilience Manager

Overview

In this role you will design, implement and continuously enhance the Operational Resilience Framework for the Irish ManCo, aligning with DORA and regulatory expectations. You will work with Risk, Compliance, Technology and external providers to embed resilience in processes and change initiatives, driving governance and reporting to senior leadership. The role offers scope to shape a growing European unit and to lead resilience across critical services and outsourcing arrangements. This is a hands-on, impact-focused position at a pivotal stage for RLAM Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continually improve a DORA-aligned Operational Resilience Framework
• Establish resilience governance, policies and oversight structures
• Manage resilience requirements across outsourced service providers and third parties
• Lead operational incident management, escalation procedures and regulatory reporting
• Design and deliver resilience testing, scenario exercises and lessons learned
• Oversee BCP, BIA and Disaster Recovery testing activities
• Produce resilience reporting for senior leadership, Executives and Boards
• Engage with regulators and evidence compliance with Irish and European expectations
• Ensure resilience is embedded in business change initiatives and strategic projects
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Technology, Operations and providers to strengthen capabilities

Key requirements

• Significant experience in Operational Resilience, Operational Risk or related discipline within regulated financial services
• Strong experience designing and embedding resilience frameworks aligned to DORA
• Thorough understanding of DORA, CP140, CP86 and related requirements
• Experience leading incident management, regulatory reporting and governance forums
• Knowledge of outsourcing oversight, third-party risk management and delegated operating models
• Experience designing and evaluating resilience testing and business continuity simulations
• Ability to prepare and present high-quality Board/Committee/regulatory reporting
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills
