What you’ll be doing
- BR Principal Designer duties on Non-HRBS & HRBs: Gateway 2 and 3 applications, BSR liaison and compliance direction for clients and design teams.
- Reviewing designs, details and specifications against the regulations.
- Advising clients directly. They come to you for the answer.
What you’ll need
- HRB experience since the BSA came in. You’ll have taken a scheme through Gateway 2, or been hands-on in one that got there. Pre-Act HRB work alone won’t get you through.
- An architectural background with working knowledge of the Building Regulations.
- The temperament for consultancy. Client facing, organised, comfortable giving a straight answer.
