Responsibilities

• Develop fire strategies and design solutions for infrastructure and buildings
• Prepare technical reports and fire engineering assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams and stakeholders
• Support project delivery from concept through construction
• Engage with clients and regulators to ensure compliance with fire safety standards
• Contribute to safety, resilience, and performance-based fire safety initiatives
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices
• Participate in securing major projects across multiple sectors

Key requirements

• Degree in Fire Engineering or related engineering discipline
• Experience delivering fire engineering design solutions on large infrastructure or complex building projects
• Knowledge of UK fire safety standards, regulations, and guidance
• Experience preparing fire strategies, technical reports, and assessments
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary design teams
• Chartered Engineer status or actively pursuing through IFE (preferred)
