Logistics Coordinator

Overview

As Induction & Access Coordinator, you will steward the onboarding and access control for 23 site compounds, ensuring smooth operation of the workforce management and induction processes. You will collaborate with staff, subcontractors and visitors, guiding security system usage and ensuring data privacy and compliance. You will drive improvements across onboarding, competency verification, and access provisioning, supporting a culture of safety and efficiency. This role offers hands-on use of specialized systems within a fast-paced project environment and opportunities to influence security practices across the JV.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control for site compounds and coordinate induction activities
• Verify documents and competencies during onboarding and update profiles
• Oversee daily induction tasks and respond to queries from staff, subcontractors, and visitors
• Troubleshoot with supply chain administrators and maintain the induction inbox
• Run and verify biosite and Right To Work checks; manage D&A processes as needed
• Maintain Engage-based induction processes and procurement approvals for new supply chain entries
• Monitor and chase expired documents; ensure timely access to sites
• Provide briefing and guidance on system developments to project teams and stakeholders
• Escalate security breaches and participate in continuous improvements across security systems
• Support Health, Safety and Security initiatives and behavioral change programs (e.g., Love for Life)

Key requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in fast-paced, team-based environments
• Experience as a systems coordinator or similar role
• Knowledge of competency management systems
• Good knowledge of data privacy law and GDPR
• Experience with Biosite or similar Workforce Management System
• Experience in onboarding/inductions for construction and/or railway environments
• Knowledge of competency standards (e.g., CITB / EUSR / CPCS)
