Delivery Consultant – Security, Global ProServe Security

Overview

In this role you design, build, and implement security solutions in real customer environments, using code to automate controls and secure workloads from the ground up. You operate at the intersection of cloud architecture and security engineering, embedding security as a foundational capability for scalable, repeatable outcomes. You’ll guide security architecture decisions, threat modelling, and implement controls across multi-account environments. You will produce practical code, reusable patterns, and reference architectures that help customers move fast while staying secure. This is a hands-on opportunity to shape cloud security at scale within a global professional services team.

Responsibilities

• Delivering security outcomes within customer engagements—designing and implementing automated security controls, architectures, and patterns using AWS security services and infrastructure as code
• Solving security challenges across domains such as IAM, network security, data protection, and detection and response to tailor solutions for customer environments
• Collaborating with project teams, customer engineers, and account teams to define and implement security solutions and identify follow-on AWS value
• Managing and escalating risks by identifying security and delivery risks, presenting options, and driving resolutions
• Developing depth as a security domain expert by building recognised expertise in at least one security domain while maintaining broad knowledge across AWS security services
• Contributing to the broader security practice by creating reusable content and reference architectures and sharing knowledge

Key requirements

• Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3)
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments
• IT implementation experience
• Design and implementation experience in cloud computing technologies
• Experience leading design, development and deployment of software at scale or hands-on infra, network, compute, storage, and virtualization
