to join a well-established operation based in Northampton, NN4.This is a permanent opportunity offering
stable Monday-to-Friday hours, a salary of up to £38,000 depending on experience, overtime opportunities and long-term career stability .We are particularly interested in engineers with experience servicing, maintaining and repairing
forklift trucks, FLTs or Material Handling Equipment (MHE) .The RoleYou will be responsible for:Servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and MHEDiagnosing mechanical and electrical faultsCarrying out planned preventative maintenance and routine inspectionsAttending breakdowns and completing repairs efficientlyIdentifying damaged or worn components and completing necessary repairsEnsuring equipment is safe, operational and ready for useCompleting service and maintenance records accuratelyReporting faults, damage and safety concernsWorking independently and alongside the wider engineering teamFollowing all company Health & Safety proceduresWhat Were Looking ForIdeally, you will have previous experience as a:Forklift Engineer / Forklift Technician / FLT Engineer / MHE Engineer / Forklift Service EngineerExperience working with any combination of
diesel, LPG, electric, counterbalance, reach trucks or other MHE
would be highly desirable.You should also have:Strong mechanical fault-finding skillsExperience servicing and repairing mechanical equipmentBasic electrical fault-finding knowledgeConfidence diagnosing breakdownsA practical, hands-on approachAbility to work independentlyGood communication and organisational skillsA reliable and professional attitudeA desire for a stable, long-term positionCandidates from
plant engineering, agricultural machinery, HGV, automotive or similar mechanical backgrounds
