As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer in a well-established building services consultancy in Liverpool, you will deliver sustainable electrical designs across varied sectors. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team from concept to completion, producing detailed designs, calculations, and specifications. You’ll support project delivery through coordination, site visits, and technical reviews, ensuring compliance with standards. Responsibilities

• Develop electrical building services designs and calculations for a variety of projects
• Coordinate with clients, architects, and other consultants to ensure design integration
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, and documentation to support project delivery
• Attend project meetings and liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth communication
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases
• Ensure designs comply with Building Regulations, British Standards, and industry best practices
• Contribute to sustainable and energy-efficient solutions
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends to enhance project outcomes

Key requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in electrical building services design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Amtech, and Revit MEP
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and British Standards
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
