Content Relationship Manager – Exchanges & Venues

Overview

In this role you will manage and grow Bloomberg’s exchange data relationships across the EMEA region, shaping our data strategy and commercial engagements. You will work with exchanges, regulators, and internal teams to drive product value, enhance coverage, and navigate market data dynamics. You’ll solve complex partnership challenges in a fast-paced environment and influence negotiations at senior levels. This is an impactful position for someone who thrives on cross-functional collaboration and market insights to shape Bloomberg’s data offering.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic relationships with exchanges, regulators and clients
• Influence contractual negotiations with exchanges
• Identify and pursue engagement opportunities across exchanges, regulators and Bloomberg
• Assess risk/reward for multiple business units and manage stakeholder expectations
• Collaborate with Enterprise, Sales, Product and Legal to achieve mutual outcomes
• Analyze business intelligence to inform decision making
• Act as escalation point to key stakeholders and C-Suite at exchanges
• Occasional travel required

Key requirements

• 5+ years experience working at an exchange or in the market data industry
• Experience dealing with senior business executives
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven experience managing initiatives with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
• Excellent communication, presentation & organizational skills
• Understanding of exchange and vendor models and the technical landscape
• Understanding of Bloomberg’s commercial landscape and client data consumption
• Familiarity with market data licensing/redistribution policies and regulation (preferred)
• Bachelor in Finance, Business or related field
